Retold Story

I am writing about the story I have heard from a friend..

He was too lonely that day and called me up aS he needed someone to talk to about personal matters.

He told me a story of his life that happened only once for the first time and he was hoping not to have that same experience ever.

This friend of mine is a call center agent. He is working somewhere in Pasay City. He is staying along Taft avenue renting a single room.

That night was too quiet. Actually, it was around past 2 am and he was going to the office. It was rainy then so, it was a little cold and windy.

He was waiting for a jeep at the corner of a dark street. His heart was pounding and feeling uneasy. The truth was, he was afraid and nervous. However, there were few cabs and jeepneys around so he waited patiently. Until a jeep came along but it was full. Then while waiting for another one, one man approached him from behind and grad his neck holding this knife as he pointed it on my friend's neck. My friend was really really terrified and dont know what to do, he just said.. " kunin nio na po yung gusto niong kunin,wag nio lang akong saktan".. if I remember clearly.
So this man, check out his bag and took his wallet and cellphone. This man was not alone, there was another younger man that him as look out. Not being contented from the things that my friend had, this man took also his wrist watch, it's NIKE.

Now my friend, no money, no cellphone, was brave enough to go to work still. Good thing, he had some money on the pocket, so he managed to go to work.

In the office, he talked to his TL about what happened to him, my friend cried. It was like the incident just sinked in to him. He said, he was shaking and "tulala". His team-mates heard about what happened to him and offered help. Wow!, I said, your teamates were really helpful. Glad that you belong to that team.

After his shift, he went to the baranggay hall and reported the incident. Shocked, the policeman's report was in English.. hehehe

He also told the story to the owner of the house where he stayed and told them that it was not the first time that it happened, perhaps, it was common to that place to have incident like that. Badly, it happened to him.

So the next shift, my friend woke up early and slept in his office's sleeping quarter and waited for his time.

Soooooo.. the lesson was...
Be vigilant. Be careful. Dont stay in a dark corner of street and dont dress up like a millionare. Whhooo!

Today is Thursday and it is my co-worker's birthday. Well, she already celebrated it with her bf and she is already broke as well so I think there wont be any pizza today. hahaha

In the office, there are 2 native americans around. They are Charles and David. They'll be our team mates in video class teaching. I haven't had the chance to speak with them personally because I don't have much free time to do so. My schedule is really full. I only have like 10 minute or 5 minute break before the next class starts and I use the breaks in getting some water and in going to the comfort room, that's all. No time to talk with my other co-workers but I can communicate with them through facebook because we have access to the internet. hahahah Nice!

Tomorrow, 25th, is my friend's wedding. It's gonna be held @ the church somewhere along Edsa but I dont know the exact name and place yet so I need to send a text message to her tonight for the details. It is not the common wedding, I mean, not the ideal one because it is a rush and not really planned. Perhaps, they'll be getting married for the second time years later where there will be sponsors and lots of guests. I'm not that excited because its gonna be hard for me to wake up so early to attend to the wedding. As you know, I'm coming from Bulacan, which is almost 2 hours away from Manila so, as I said to her, it's gonna be a great challenge for me to wake up so early for that event. Anyway, i'll still go to for my friend. :D It's gonna be really special for her and her husband.. lol!

There is nothing really special today. The classes in today's schedule lasts for 45 minutes and it's really giving me pain especially for those beginners. However, I can tell that I'm getting used to it so, it's no longer a big deal for me whether they are slow or now, the only problem I am having is the execution of the lesson and motivation for myself. hehehe

It is not a busy schedule now so I'm able to write something. So far, I only have 3 blogs for August.. Goosh... Am I that busy this month??

REST days...

It is not really a good weekend for me as I am sick and catch a cold.
It all started in the office. Some co-workers were sick last week and I think, they have spreaded the virus all over the corner of our workplace causing more people to get sick like them. Sadly, I am one of the affected ones.
Because of that, this Saturday, I just took a rest, literally.
My younger sister washed my clothes, while me, I just stayed in front of my computer surfing the net. Perhaps, it is one of the laziest weekend that I have ever.





Anyway, Last Friday, we had our second gathering. I mean, my BGE (Bonding with God Experience) family had its 2nd meeting and it all happened at the same place as before, KFC Eastwood. It was Divine, who led the cell group. Gladly, there were 3 people who were added in the group. Michelle, Astrid and Gemma. All three followed the prayer of acceptance led by Vea. Glory to God for the 3 more souls we have won for HIM. I just hope that they will continue to join our gatherings every friday.

It was like 2:30am when we have ended the cell group, and Terry and I believed that it would be best to stay somewhere in Eastwood until the sun rises because it would be really unsafe to travel home that time. So what we did, Terry, Divine, Gemma and I stayed at the Coffee Bean, drunk a coffee and wait til 5am.

Good thing that Gemma brought her laptop and the coffee shop had WIFI, so we enjoyed the night surfing the net, watching clips from YOUTUBE, checking FB and picture taking. That same time, Divine uploaded all the pictures taken. :D

We headed home at aroung 6am I think. Terry and I ate breakfast meal @ Mcdonalds in Cubao and continue the talking about several things then we separated our ways.

I arrived home @ 8:30am and I told them that I was not feeling well so I just changed clothes and sleep right away.



NOTE: I saw my facebook friend @ KFC, we haven't seen each other personally yet, since we only knew each other through internet. I was not really sure it that was him so I texted him to confirm, and YEs, it was my friend. He saw me and I saw him too but we did not talked since both of us were with our circle of friends. It was not the right time yet. hehehe

Whatta Sked!

Before, I always want August to come. But now, I regretted to wish August to come. Why?

Una, kasi puno na schedule ko!
Grabe! 11 classroom, as in! Whatta blast!
There are new students today and Im gonna be seeing them for 3 months.
Ou! Syang Tunay!
However, okay nmn din kasi yung mga new students. The others have brains already. They already know basic english and some are already good. But the rest, spoon feeding pa rin ang kailangan.

Last month kasi, meron pa kong mga ilang oras na bakante before my real schedule but now, 10 minute break lang talaga ang dahilan ko para makapunta ng cr at para mag kape. No more chit chat time.

I wish I could turn back time pero no turning back na. This is the real life. This is the real job.

I just need to have positive vibes and lots of motivation to do my job well.
Kaya lang, san ko makikita ang dalawang iyon???
