Seoul Barbecue

The managers often give a lunch treat to the best employees of the month.
I remember when I was chosen as the teacher of the month in April last year, we went to Kogi restaurant located at the 2nd floor of Eastwood City Mall which is walking distance from our company.

This time, riding in Mr. Lees, car, all the newly promoted Supervisors headed to Seoul Barbecue which located along E.Rodriguez avenue in Libis QC.
It is not really a big korea restaurant but its kinda popular they said.

The waiters greeted as a very warm "Anyong Haseyo" as we enter the resto.
10 seats were reserved for us.

As usual, they served us the side dishes first which includes the very famous kimchi, sprauts, small slices of korean pizza, a squid balls with yummy soup, fried dilis and some other vegies.

A few minutes more, they served the main dishes we ordered. We had bibimbop, bulgogi, tempura, fried makarel and a spicy food.

Before I forget, we also had some pineapple. :D as a dessert.

When koreans eat, it is like a feast. There are so many food on the table. But for them its just a normal meal. So Mr. Lee, our managers who treated us the said lunch, told us that korean mothers are really playing a very important role in the family especially in preparing food.

It was really an awesome lunch with Mr. Lee, Mr. Kim, Ms. Malu and the newly promoted supervisors. We enjoyed every minute of stay at Seoul Barbecue.

I recommend this restaurant for a fantastic and delicious korean food experience.
So when you visit Eastwood, dont forget to dine in at Seoul Barbecue.

Congratulations!

I am writing now while watching the movie 30Days of Night: Dark Days 2010

Alright. I was in a hurry going in the office today. I got up late from bed that was why.

On my way here, I encountered a lot of "aberyas". First, the traffic. Second, MRT train, and last, Jeep going to Citibank.

I really thought I wont make it to attend the lunch meeting with the managers BUT, glad, I did make it.

We held it at Seoul Barbeque Restaurant located near Mercury @ Eastwood City, Libis.

It was my second time to be with the managers eating korean food.

Mr. Lee gave a short congratulations speech for all us, newly promoted Supevisors. He made short because he doesnt want us to lose our appetite in eating.. lol

About the place....

The resto is nice.

The place looks very warm and clean.

The waiters are really helpful.

and the food? oh~ so yummy.

We had a lot of side dishes from kimchi to spinach and korean pizza.

We had a tea made from rice they said but it doesnt really have a taste unlike icedtea.

I prerred cold water instead.

And the main dishes: bibimbop, my favorite, bulgogi, tempura, fried makarel, spicy soup and other which I dont know the korean names.

All of those foods are so so yummy and healthy.

I wonder when this thing will happen again.

CHEERS EVERYONE!!!!

Yellow Cab

Today is Pizza day.

Our team was selected as the Best Team for the month of December 2010.

With that award, we got 100 php additional to our pay for the said month and a pizza as a treat.

January 20th... we enjoyed that pizza from the managers. Yeeaaahhh... 2 pcs of 18 inch pizza from yellow cab plus a cold coca cola. San kapa?

Our team has one 12 members so sawa sawa kame sa pizza.

I think I ate more than 4 slices of pizza. hahaha TAKAW!

Anyway, this does not happen every month so we surely enjoyed the rewards of doing good in terms of attendance and daily tasks.

I would like to personally thanks all the team members for their contributions.
Great job team!

Hopefully, we can still bring home the bacon the following months.

Remember, he have to avoid lates, absences and claims..

I got my very first planner from Starbucks on Sunday which was the last day of their promo.
I am sooo happy to have my own.

I would like to thank my co-worker Haznah and Terry for their contributions. They gave me 3 stickers each which completed my card.

New Year, New Life

Happy new year!
Let us all welcome the year 2011 with a bang!

This is my very first entry for this year.
It's been a while since the last time I wrote in here.
Well, I had been busy doing a lot of things at work and at home.
And, im trying to manage some other things. Hope you understand.

Anyway, I am still thinking about my new year's resolution this year.
Actually, I have already thought about it. Hmm.. Here are they:

* To get physically fit. I have noticed that I am becoming bigger. hehe So, I thought of enrolling myself in the nearby gym around my neighborhood to help me become fit. I dont really want to lose weight. I just want to tone my body.

* To save money. I bought a netbook last December as a christmas gift for myself. This year, Im gonna start paying the credit card bill. So in order for me not to have net loss again, I need to properly budget my small earnings to pay all the bills and the same time to save some for future use.

* To learn something new. I am planning to learn another language. Perhaps, Im gonna continue studying the German language which I started several months ago. I stopped because the lessons were getting really harder and my tongue was getting twisted..lol

* To enjoy what life offers. Well, this year, Im gonna be more open to changes and to what comes and goes. Ill try to become more positive and to lessen expectations to lessen the disappointments as well.

So far those are the things in my mind. Im gonna try to think of any other things to add if in case. Well, good luck to myself. I hope I can meet those things.

long weekend-maulang undas

Long weekend ngayon para mga nag ta trabaho.
Saturday-Monday ang days off sa work! Saya! Minsan lang kasi ito mangyari,
especially samen nakakaiba ang nature ng work at kakaiba din ang ni follow na holidays.

Anu nga ba ang nangyari sa 3 days off?

Saturday...
Ala nmn nangyari, same old stuff.
Tanghali ako bumangon, mejo maulan kasi nun at masarap matulog.
Panu nmn kasi anong petsa na nmn ako natulog that time - umaga na.
Nagtulog lang din ako maghapon, isang tipikal na Sabado sa buhay ko.
Natapos ang araw ng ganun ganun na lang.

Sunday...
Aba! Aga ko nagising mga 4:30am.
Panu kasi tong frend ko, naka online.
Ugali ko kasi, iwan ol ung ym ko sa ipod with a BUSY status at ang message ko ay " Sleeping now. Leave your message. Syempre 24 hours din bukas ang router ko.
Dahil ol tong si friend ko sa Dubai sya now, kung maka pag BUZZ, kala mo kapit bahay ko lang. E syempre nagising ako sa sound. Tsaka ganung time lang din kasi sya madalas mag ol e so ako naman bumangon at nakipagchat.

Nagsimba ako nung umaga. Natulog ako ng lunch at nagising ng hapon.
I planned to have my haircut but shoot! nitamad ako. Kaya ala na nmn nangyari saken.

Sunday night, nakatanggap ako ng text from an old friend about the sudden death ng isa naming ka trabaho sa first job ko as callcenter agent. Ayun, namatay ung friend ko from a disease called LYMPHOMA, a kind of cancer. Paki-google nalang. Too bad tlaga kasi unexpected. We all thought na nagpapagaling na kasi tong friend namen from that.

Monday...
Last day ng day off. Ala akong plan. Tanghali ako bumangon, around 12nun. Kasi kakain na, nitawag lang ako. After that, natulog ako ulet, nagising ng hapon mga 2pm.
Naligo ako at nag bihis. Gusto ko palang pumunta sa memorial garden at dumalaw kay lolo at lola. Ni gising ko tong sister ko, at ni aya, ayun buti pumayag.
Sakay kame bus at bumaba sa Mary the Queen, kakatila lng ng ulan so wet ang mga damo sa memorial. Iw! hahahha

Sakto ang dating namen, kumakain sila ng palabok with tinapay at juice. Huwaw!
Ayun kain at pagkatapos nag libot libot sa memorial.
Ang so sosyal ng mga tao dun, aside sa mga may tent e dami food~ catering services pa ang iba. Tapos ung mga puntod, aba! parang bahay. May aircon at tv at may sarili silang CR. Nice diba?

Sana lang ma-appreciate nung patay yun. hakhakhak.

Anyway, hanggang sa sementeryo, mapapansin mo ang pagkakakilanlan ng status ng buhay ng tao. Makikita mo nmn kung sino tlaga ang may kaya at sino ang average.

Well, sarap din mag sight seeing dun.. At dami nagtitinda, nakabili nga kame Siomai. Sarap..

Hahaha.. yun pala ang ni punta namen, kumain at maglakad lakad.

Tuesday na bukas. Ayoko ng idea na mag wowork na naman ako ulet.
Start ng new month, bago mga students ngayon. Less work lang ako dahil mararamdaman ko na ang bago kong position sa trabaho.
Wag lang magkaroon ng pasaway sa team ko at ako mag ha handle ng mga classes/calls nila. A-YO-Ko!

Anyway, di ko masabing naging productive ang long weekend ko. Kayo nalang humusga.
