PALM Sunday
Time really flies.
Today is Palm Sunday. Its means the month of April is coming since it marks the start of the holy week. Most of people in the Philippines acknowledge the Lenten Season as part of their beliefs. Not only Catholic people but some other denominations life the Methodist and Baptist.
What do people do on Palm Sunday?
The answer is I dont really know. Pero as what I observed, most Catholic people buy this palm leaves and then they'll bring in to the church para naman pa basbasan sa pari. After that, they are gonna hung it on their window as a symbol that they welcome Jesus Christ ~ just like what happened during the biblical times when Jesus entered the town of Jerusalem. Kaya dun nagstart ang "ARAW NG PALASPAS".
So what I did today? Ayun, woke up late kaya naman I was late for the church service. Syempre, nakakahiya yun first to God, and then dun sa mga tao. Today's message was about Jesus' coming to Jerusalem. The message was delivered by Sis. Dothy from the Green Pasture UMC. It was like an exchange pulpit. Kasi its WCS Sunday so lahat ng nagpreach sa District 3 UMC were all women having the same message to give to the congregation.
That's what's good about UMC ~ there is uniformity and very organize.

Eto, my migraine is attacking me again. I hate this feeling. Hindi ko masyado maappreciate yung pagkain ko, yung ni papanood ko, masungit ako, di mo ko pwd utusan kasi sisigawan kita, yung tipong ganun. Kaya nman dito sa bhay, wala masyado kumakausap saken at ako naman I dont speak too much. Haist. I guess I really have to see my doctor. Baka kasi this migraine is not just migraine but a sign of something else. WAAAAHHH! Bawal magkasakit ngeon. Wala sa budget!
Actually, I took a nap for an hour and when I woke up, that was the time I felt this bad. Kasi nmn tulog ng tulog! wahahaha.
-----
By the way, I have activated my skype account maybe several weeks ago and my status is always "Skype Me". In this way, people can search for me and start chatting though they are not in my contact list and because of that, I was able to talk to different people worldwide. Yeah, right! People from other countries such as Middle Eas, Australia and from the Philippines. Kaya lang, there are people who are too naughty. I dont waste time entertaining those kinds of people. Im wholesome.. wahaha.. halata naman eh.. :)
-----
Alright, perhaps, I have said a lot already and I want to sleep now kasi naman, badtrip talaga tong migraine na to. Sobrang epal!
Have a good night sleep to those who are about to sleep like me..

What's new?
Wow! Its been a while since my last entry...
OMG! Been busy at work for so long ~ its a peak season for us which we have so many students and many more to come. My schedule is really over loaded already and the management keep on adding more students. I almost give up but I believe its not yet time to resign..
-----
Alright. What's new? Well, there are so many new updates to tell.
First of all ~ I celebrated my birthday on the 23rd of March! I was really overwhelmed and felt so special with those bunch of greetings I got from my family, friends and relatives around. My facebook account was full of posts coming from those people who remembered my birthday. While at work, I received a special greetings from our trainer. WOW! It was really a day to remember. Even those people who were not close to me took time to greet me personally. WAAHHH! I got a teddy from my co-teacher as gift, a krispy kreme donut from Guia and a mug with birthday card from my team- Team Lence. Naks~ So in return, I bough some pizza from pizza hut and eat with them.
-----
We have a rookie in the team. His English name is 'Jake". He's a fresh graduate ~ very young. He looks good. Actually, there were 5 rookies all in all who were assigned to different teams. Lucky us for having one. AND! 3 of the rookies are boys. So most teachers were really looking and checking them out because there were only a few male teachers on the floor and some of them are not straight. To tell you, these guys are good looking. I mean, they dont look so bad so that is why teachers are excited to know them.
-----
My facebook and myspace friends are increasing. Yeah! ahaha just like to mention it.
-----
Its ' the earth hour ' today. The whole Philippines participated in this activity even us. We turned off our lights from 8:30pm to 9:30pm [1 hour] to somehow save power energy and to help the earth itself. As you know, its getting worse now. I mean, in the Philippines most specially, its like El Nino ~ dry season. Even the water from the different dams is decreasing. So, we really need to do this.
-----
Today ~ March 27th, I had my mini birthday bash with my family. My mom cooked spaghetti and pancit guisado. I bought ice cream and some bread at iyon ang aming pinagsaluhan together. Funny moments with my nephews and niece. They are so makukulit! Also, we celebrated my nephew's graduation ( kinder )and got the "best in christian education" award, my niece~ who is the first honor in the 4th grade class, my other nephew, who got the "most responsible" award in the 3rd grade class. Kaya madami kaming ni-celebrate kanina at sobrang busog na naman ako today. So pretty sure, nadagdagan ang timbang ko.
-----
Did I miss something to tell??... Hmmm...
-----
Ayun! There will be a team members reshuffling on the floor. It might happen next week according to HTs. Kasi sila, they already had their meetings while my team, we'll have the meeting on monday. And what is for sure, the video class teachers will remain to their current HT yun eh according to the other teachers. sabi sabi ba. so Im just gonna wait for the announcement which will come from our own HT. Haist. If that "reshuffling" thingy will happen? panibagong pakikisama na naman sa mga ibang teachers and Supervisors.. good luck naman. its gonna be a new burden on our shoulders.
-----
Until now, Ive been thinking what to give or to buy for myself as a gift. Kasi di ba nga, I celebrated my birthday so ayun. Im planning to buy an Itouch kahit 8gb okay na saken yun, it can save 1thousand plus songs already so I guess that's too many already. Tska since I have my router at home, I can use the wi-fi connection too. Hmmm.. Actually, Im asking this Itouch from my brother who is in canada. I told him to but it for me but he said he will buy it when he come back to the philippines which will happen on September maybe? Kaya nmn ako eh atat na magkaron nito. So I will just buy it for myself. What do you think? Okay na cguro un noh..
-----
Im making a wish list. Listed are things which I wanted to have for this year. Hopefully I can have them but if im gonna stay in my current company, it will only remain as dreams because of a low income. Haaayy.. I just sigh..
-----
Perhaps, I have said enough already. So, ito na muna ang update. I will post again tomorrow or as soon as I have the chance,
-----
Good night, peeps!
Cheers!

How are you?
How are you?
- is the question I always ask to my students. I can say that in many different ways. At dahil everyday kong nitatanong yan, nagsasawa na rin ako at times. Not only in asking the same questions everytime but in what I am doing in general. As you know, my an online teacher ~ which means I teach English on the phone with koreans as my students.
At first, okay nmn talaga ang work. No pressure or anything. The workplace is good and the people are good somehow. Until I came to the point of having a hard time to motivate myself.
There were times when I question myself why should do this and that. I know that nothing is permanent in this world but change pero exagge naman masyado ang changes sa workplace. Rules are being changed every now and then. Kapag nahuli ka sa balita, talo ka. Mga things that should not be given attention eh yun pa ang pinapansin and eventually, nagiging worse.
-----
Nauumay na ko sa ginagawa kong work. Parang minsan pointless na ang lahat. Ngayon, Im just working to earn money. That's the only reason in my mind. Im not having fun nor enjoying my work. Im asking myself why am I feeling this way ~ I cant really find the answer. Perhaps, its too much already. I mean, the number of students everyday are very very many ~ sabi ng isang student ko. I just to work just to pay my bills on time and to somehow give financial assistance to my family. I cant stop working kasi. Im actually the bread winner in my family and next is my younger sister. We were the only siblings left with living with my parents so I really need a job. Kung di lang dahil sa kanila, I stop working here already.
Actually, I keep on looking for an opportunity to work abroad. That's the only I wanted to happen this year.
-----
So for now, I just need to work and work. If ever I will find a greater opportunity, Im gonna grab it.
For you out there feeling the same way as I am, dont lose hope or dont be discouraged to try out something new. Kasi who knows, you are meant to do other things. :)
Cheers to everyone!

~ Igorot Dance~
We went to this place where we all saw a dance presentation of some young people as they portray the life of our ancestors. They were singing and dancing in this video. It was really awesome to see them did that well, as in. Good job! It was one of the things that made our trip to Baguio worth remembering.
Cheers to all!
Panagbenga Festival 2010
I am proud to say that for that first time, I was able to witness and see the beautiful and amazing festival in Baguio City. Perhaps, we can compare it to the U.S' Flower festival. It was really awesome to see elementary kids, highschoolers and college students performing on the streets wearing colorful costumes. Aside from that, the most awaited flower float parade.
My friends and I went there on February 27th, that was Friday night after our shift. 10 of us headed to the north, climbed up to the mountain to see the beautiful creation of God in that place.
Well, I was not disappointed to what I saw. Not because it was my first time to see that place personally but because it was really a wonderful place. We took a lot of photos from the first day that we arrived there until the second day as we all went home together.
It was all worth it. I mean, the expenses and all those stuff because nothing can compare the bonding and friendship that started in that place.
The places where we went were the following:
~ camp john hay
~ the mansion
~ woods
~ tam-awan village
~ strawberry farm
~ bell church
~ botanical garden
~ lake @ camp john hay
Of course, we did not forget to see take pictures wearing the our ancestors clothes. Also, each of us took pictures while riding in a horse. It was also my first time.
If you will check my facebook account, you will see there 5 folders in my photos having all the pictures that we had from Baguio city.
Every moment counts so we never forget to take pictures whatever pose and position we were all in. Good thing that they have camera and I have my internet connection so I was able to upload the pictures a day after the trip.
We were all exhausted but still we never stop talking about it. Until the time that we went back to the office on Tuesday, March 2nd, we still talked about it.
I hope that what it was not the last time to go there with them. I'm looking forward to travel other places here in the Philippines with them.
Cheers to all of us!
