Father's Cry

I remember just now an incident that happened on Saturday, June 26th.
I was on my way to Trinoma, a popular department store in Manila, to see my friend because I will accompany her in buying Itouch.
So I was in the bus, sitting on the window seat with my earphone on my ear.
There was man who got on the bus wearing a plain t-shirt and pants.
When I look at him closely, I can tell that he is in need of something.
Then, when he started to speak in front of us, passengers.
He told us that he asked permission from the driver to solicit from the passenger.
What do you think was his reason?
Well, in tagalog, he said, kailangan nya ng 800 pesos in order for him to buy medicine for his baby who was in the hospital that time.
My heart bleeded that time when I heard what he said.
I felt really bad and gloomy.
Sabi pa nya, galing sya sa another bus and ask for an ample amount from the passengers to para nga naman my ma ipambayad sya sa hospital.
Tapos, while he was speaking, he cried and said, nahihiya sya sa ginagawa nyang panghihingi ng pera ngunit wala syang ibang paraan na alam dahil yung work nya, kung meron man which I forgot ay hindi sapat yung income nia.
Ou, he cried. Umiiyak sya habang sinasabi nya ung kalagayan ng baby nia sa hospital.
Sabi pa nya, nilakasan lang nya yung loob nya dahil he wanted to keep the baby alive.
Siguro, nasa critical condition yung baby that is why ganun na lang ung pagsusumamo niya sa mga tao.
Well ako, nakikinig pa rin ng mp3 sa ipod...
I really dont paid much attention kasi ayoko syang tignan dahil at times, I am emotional especially kapag family na ung ni papagusapan..
I felt bad kasi, I did not give any amount.
Panu ba naman, my money that time was just enough for my fare. Kasi I believe na, my friend will treat me meryenda after namen makabili ng itouch nya kaya I did not bring an extra.
So ayun, nalungkot kasi i was not able to give him something.
There were some people na nagbigay and the others kept their hands closed.

For me, whether what he said was true or not, we should help one another.
Seldomly you will see fathers na nanghihingi ng amount from other people unless talagang in need.

Ayun, nakita ko pa rin ang ni tatawag nilang bayanihan in terms of giving money to that person for his baby's hospitalization.

BTW, nakabili na nga kame ng Itouch for my friend and we got it for only 9,990 pesos.. That was really cheaper compared to mine.

Well, I got my itouch 3 months ago so what do you expect? The price will surely decrease.

Anyway, just like what I expected as well, she treated me for dinner @ a fast food resto.

And I got back home at around 7pm..
