This could be the start of something new!

Its June!
this might be the start of the rainy season...
prepare to get wet by the flood and rain.. hehehe

...

Ive been working for YBM since July last year and I find my work a little boring already. Well, its not toxic but what im doing is already a routinary work for me though at times, its still good and funny.

By the 3rd week of June, our company is going open a new account and its gonna be different to what Im currently doing. It's a "Video Class" program. Both parties can be seen by each other through webcam.

I was chosen as one of the teacher that will handle the said program 2 weeks from now. Actually, the manager asked me if Im interested about it and... well.. I asked some questions regarding the programs since its gonna be new. The manager promised that its gonna be not so difficult. He told me that pronunciation, diction and grammar would not be very important. Perhaps, catching the attention of the students would be the main focus and also, the class flow should be really interesting and full of fun. So I guess, it will require a lot of energy.

I agreed to handle Video class knowing that its gonna be more challenging for me. It will require great effort for sure. Though I know that its tough, am still interested to try out something new. Being an online teacher for 10 months is good and I think its time to give myself a break for the daily routines that Im used to be doing since then.

Im hearing a lot of negative thoughts about the said program. Since its new to everyone, there is no set of policies yet and im wondering if there would be an increase in terms of salary. Well, Im hoping that there is..

I noticed that some people are questioning my decision. There is this one person who approached me in a sarcastic upon knowing that Im gonna be joining the video class program. Though this person was smiling then, I find it really really plastic. To interpret that person's action: It is like I dont have the gutts to be in that program. It is like this person is telling me that I should not be part of it. Shoot! I dont care!

I see this as a new challenging work. I find it interesting. I had handled man to man type of teaching ( academy type ) so it wont be different for me to see koreans face to face. What is different is its gonna be in a video type and navigating the program but the rest is all the same.

Im gonna miss my current team. I am happy with them. They are very jolly and most of us share the common interest. But, Im still part of the company though. I will just be moved to the next room so we will still be able to bump with each other.

sigh...

I need to prepare myself. I don't expect anything because I might be disappointed so better not to expect.

Peace out!
