Nightwatch Service

Every end of the year, our church prepares a special service called Nightwatch.
Ito na kasi ung last service for the year kaya nmn expected na rin na maraming tao ang dadalo.
This year, ako lang ang nag attend ng service to represent my family. I also asked myself why was that so. TO answer my curiosity, I asked every member of the family to know their reason.
Ate and her husband including ate jho, they told me that they were already tired the whole day. They cleaned the house and prepared food for tonights celebration.
Ate Grace, my eldest brother's wife, she's tired too for the same reason.
My youngest sister, Rachelle, was not home. She met her college BFF and got her hair trimmed and relaxed.

So there, I am the only person available to go. If pinairal ko ang katamaran, for sure, hindi rin ako pupunta but then, someone inside said to go though im alone.
I was so blessed on tonight's message. It was about a new beginning, a new start, from the book of Ephesians 4:20 and follows.
THen after the Pastor' sermon, BURNING OF SINS follows. It was the time when we wrote down our known sins for the whole year in a sheet of paper. On the other sheet, we wrote down our prayers and wishes for the coming year. No worries, nobody can ever cheat or see what you have written down, and beside, susunugin un in front of the altar. I watched my paper to completely burned.. ehehehe.. The funny side, I almost needed another sheet of paper to write down all my sins for this year. [joke].
Hopefull, I will over come those sins and eventually, become a better and strong person for this coming 2010.

I cannot help but thank the Lord because I am a Christian. Because as early as I now, I was able to know what is right, what should be done and what should be avoided. I am not perfect though, I admit I still commit sin. But that makes my life more meaningful. Because of those experiences, I become more mature, kahit hindi halata minsan. I learned alot of things as well from my past experience. Just like what the saying goes, ...'experience is the best teacher' -- which I totally agree.

Let us all welcome this year with hope and love. :)

Happy new year to everyone!

I speak blessings to you and your family.
