Online Now!

Before Internet has been created, people were living a not so techie life. Life was simple then and there was not much complication.
But I realized that ever since Internet has been known to the public, people are always online.
I was a highschool student [freshman] when I created my very first email. I did not much about computer then though we have a computer subject in school that time. My teacher taught me how to use some basic applications in the computer such as MS WORD and the likes. I was interesting to know about those stuff.
But out of my curiosity, my friend and I tried to use the first time and we both created email address. I was really amazed. hehehehe [pure and innocent mind].
When I was in college, I begun to use the net more often to search for homeworks and projects as well as to do research about literature, which was my major.
I then created another email address which was from google.com.
As time flies, I then do some more search on the net. I created accounts on different social networking sites such as friendster, facebook, tagged, multiply, youtube, imeem, myspace, ilike and the latest was this blog. Though I had so many accounts, I only manage 4 of them: facebook [all the time], my blogsite [most of the time], mutiply [to check updates from other friends] and tagged [to know more people]. The rest were in history.. :)
Internet is not only finding interesting and not so interesting people or site, its also a place for finding a bunch of bunch of information. Just type your keyword in the search box and his Enter... It will automatically gives you the related result for your search! That's cool right?!
I've done so many things while on the net, chat here and there.. establish friendship to people i really dont know. Watch x rated videos and porns.. those common stuff.
Anyway, because of the Internet, I discover a lot of things. I've learned lesson from other peoples point of view. I saw some who were like me. I've known some friends from different parts of the philippines and some were from other countries.
For me, the Internet helps me grow in terms of maturity, personality and the likes. However, somehow, I think it's teaching me how to be more liberated though I can still control myself.
I think its all in the mind whether you will let your own self be effected negatively by what you see on the net, by what you hear and by what you've read.
It is indeed true that we should not give any personal info to unknown people to avoid being a victim of scam or what.
Well, if you are looking for a date online, you must be really careful. I guess some of the pictures people are displaying in their profile are not the most current one. I guess its just their "front" to attract people. I'm not saying this thing based on my experience because I have not had any but its just a thought.

Just to share..
I've known three people from the net [tagged]. These people are cool and I 'think' they are true. The first one person, I am still having contact with through sms though not very much. The second person, we became really close.. at first.. I think it was like 2 or 3 weeks, we've been happily exchanging sms, phone calls, emails.. then one time, it stopped without any clear explanation from that second person. We have not had the chance to meet in person though we saw each other through exchange of pictures. The third person, I still have contact with. This person is still a university -graduating student just like the second one. Well, just the like second, we've been talking on the phone, sending sms, emails,, and we met once. I went to their house and we watch a movie in this person's room. After that meeting, our "relationship" became cold.. [relationship - as acquaintance] No more phone calls, sms not pretty often anymore.. though we still send sms.. so there.. some people I thought were good.. hehehe no regrets of knowing them.. those incidents had been added to my memory bank.

Anyway, we are responsible for the acts we are doing. We have to stand and face the consequences of whatever we do. We have to admit that sometimes, our curiosity brings us nowhere. It can also make our lives miserable.
