I was with a friend yesterday night at the Araneta Colesium. We watched the concert of a foreign Christian band named "PLANETSHAKERS". They were all the way from Melbourne, Australia.
Their songs were really really good and all of the people were so blessed and moved especially by the words of encouragement from Sam, one of the female vocals, when she shared how she knew Jesus Christ.
There were so many people, especially young people all over from different churches from different places around Manila area. It was good to know that all of those people were seeking on how they can be deeper in their relationship with God.
I was so touched on Sam's words when she told us that going to church will NOT save us rather it will make us religious. In order to be saved, we have to ACCEPT Jesus Christ as our PERSONAL Lord and Saviour, which I believe is very true.
I'm hoping that those people who raised their hands and followed the prayer of acceptance would be true to themselves and live a christian life.. though its really hard to practice what you preached but at least try and trust God to do the rest..
By the way, I was with Sherwin, my friend who I knew from the previous company where I worked with. He will be having his wedding next year. The date is not certain yet.. hehehe
